Our Coach

Coach Kim Dever is a physical education teacher and accomplished multi-sport coach at Desert Mountain High School in Scottsdale, Arizona. She currently leads the Wolves' girls tennis and girls golf programs, focusing on confidence, sportsmanship, teamwork and helping each athlete develop their individual strengths.

Under her leadership, Desert Mountain girls tennis has established itself as one of Arizona's premier programs, winning multiple AIA Division I state championships — including consecutive titles in 2025 and 2026.

Beyond competition, Coach Dever is committed to creating inclusive athletic experiences. She introduced Desert Mountain's annual unified basketball game, which brings the school community together to celebrate and support students with special needs.

Her coaching philosophy emphasizes mentorship, resilience and developing strong, confident and well-rounded young people — both in athletics and in life.
